Among other things, nobody is sure where Romney stands on the second ammendment or who he would appoint toSCOTUS. those are major factors in my choice. That is why I like Perry.

I want a border fence. That is electrified. And laughs at mexicans while electrocuting them. And shoots ninja stars at random mexicans who look at it wrong.

You should blame yourself for voting for Romney knowing that it will split the Part and end it forever.
But then again, you will not have time to blame anyone. If you truly live in Chicago the great collapse will occur shortly after the election and you will be long pig buffet on one of Obama's constituent's plate.

Tin foil hat territory, but I have to wonder. Could the reason that Romney is being pushed at us from far and wide be an attempt to kill the Tea Party? I've thought about this for a while now. The Tea Party worked tirelessly in the 2010 cycle and made a huge impact. The Tea Party is truly a grass-roots movement, and because of that, I believe they scare the living daylights out of the establishment GOP and the establishment media (FoxNews included). Our betters in government circles and the media gain their power from being the "deciders". They can't control the Tea Party or their message. The Tea Party will not support Romney. They may mobilize for local candidates, but the wind will be taken out of the sails if the top guy is, once again, a RINO.

I highly doubt that the morons are going to sit on their hands. Yes, there is a lot of frustration but it's still a year away from the general election.

Thank you. I missed the last debate. I'll pull the lever for Romney in the general but it's odd that a repeal isn't found anywhere near his top 5 for day one of his presidency and odd that it took so long to get him to utter the word repeal.
Again, thanks.

against foisted upon us.
Foisted upon us? If Perry or Cain can't win the nomination it's because of them.

"26 3. ... Solar is about 40 years old. The breakthrough hasn't happened. It's not reliable enough to even be called 'alternative energy'."
Actually, what there is of it works fine, and there's lots of it elsehwhere, particular in Yerp. The problems with it HERE seem to be peculiarly U.S. problems, involving things like, the technology to get it underway is mostly foreign-produced, which means big costs and big delays, and then transmission issues, as in there's very little of it here, and then the market is more attracted to surer returns from the more traditional sources - but even there, the market is, uh, not unresponsive to lobbied government (I realize that's a sensitive spot here - hey, it's not as if I haven't had to deal with it myself - but going ostrich on that factor, to me anyway, isn't the smart way to go.).

IRS is still a piece of shit.
I agree with that. Perhaps we can get Romney to say he will repeal the 16th Amendment on the 3rd day and we can go back to tariffs and excise taxes with the States kicking in the remainder of the money.

Have dash
That is what Rush has been saying, and he says he hears it from the establishment and lobbyists. They do not want the Tea Party, and are vocal about it. He said he heard somebody say, "They (tea partiers) think it is their party! well, it isn't.". That is why I say if Romney is my only choice on the general, I will not vote for him.

I get what you are saying but I there is a lot of frustration with the conservative base in choosing our candidate. It is actually a farce on so many levels. The MSM, the establishment, the tinkering with primary dates, etc... are all trying to choose the candidate for us. The government is of the people, by the people, and for the people. But the people are being left out. This choosing of our candidate is being shoved down our throat just like Obama/Romneycare was. If the republican party wants power it better listen to its people. And yeah, I know you know all this but I feel better for writing it.
