Hi, Everyone. Due to your great effort, CSSA has done a lot since our group formed in the June. We have picked up more than 150 new students and provide housing for them. We got our great discount card for our Chinese students, and got great funding from different sources. We made two workshops to facilitate our students¡¯ career. Public relation has also got much information from our survey. Our new student orientation proved to be very successful, and our ongoing Quad Day, New student BBQ, Moon Festival are all on the way. Hereby, on behalf of the CSSA 2006-2007 Committee, and on behalf of myself, I will say ¡°Thank you very much.¡± You effort to CSSA and our Chinese students are highly appreciated. Eventually, we are all volunteers. And you are all invited to our Volunteer Appreciation Party at Aug 26th, Saturday, from 5:00-8:00pm At Campus Connection Party Room (1617 Melrose Park Ct, Urbana, IL 61801, Map attached, you can take BUS 130 to go there if you don¡¯t have a car ) Free Food provided (mostly like a dinner, however, if you can bring something, fell free to do that) This party is open to all volunteers of CSSA or people who are willing to be as volunteers for CSSA. Volunteers of CSSA are not only for CSSA 2006-2007, but also the CSSAs before. If you know someone who used to be as volunteers for CSSA or who is willing to be as volunteers for CSSA, fell free to invite them to come. Our VPs and Chairs of current CSSA committee, please also contact your volunteers to invite them to come.
